Holiday Sessions

I kept busy in November with these holiday family sessions. These are all past clients who wanted to do a short session in order to create personalized, custom holiday cards. It was a bit stressful as the original dates for these sessions were rained out. We made it work, though. The next handful of posts are some of my favorites...

Little Mr. H. 

So I am VERY behind on posting pictures on here! I did this session back in October at Yates Mill. This is one of my favorite places to do sessions. I've been watching this little man grow over the last 2 years that I have known him. What a cutie!

Sweet baby boy ... 

Two adorable kids!!! I never knew how much this little boy talked until this session (and I normally see him on a weekly basis for play group!) And his sister - beautiful!!

A recent session. These boys have a lot of energy! Big brother turned five this month, so the focus was on him, but we did take a few sibling pics and family pics. Here are a few of my favorites.

This family was SO much fun! It was very laid back. I used all natural light and their home as the backdrop. It makes a session so much easier for me when I don't have to lug all the backdrops, stands, and light equipment to your home. That being said, it makes it a little more challenging for me to find good lighting where the children choose to play. It's not too hard with babies who aren't crawling yet because you can place them where you want them. Once they are on the move, though, so are you! These are the style pictures I tend to like more. It's fun to get true expressions from the children. I think the picture below of the kids together was a result of my singing my own made up version of the "Wheels on the Bus." Apparently, it is very funny to kids when there are cows on the bus singing "moo, moo, moo"!!!
