Sweet Baby Boy

This little boy was so sweet. I have photographed his big brother a couple times, so I was thrilled to be able to take his newborn pictures. It took him quite a while to fall into a deep sleep. Once he did, I took a few different shots of him from different angles. When we tried to reposition, he woke right up. This is one reason that newborn sessions are generally longer.

This sweet little boy just slept and slept and slept for me! It really is best to take newborn photos in those first 14 days of life. The earlier the better. Contact me early to schedule your newborn session. :)

Little Miss C and big brother Mr. C! I was so glad when their parents asked me to come back and take pictures of their newest addition. I took pictures of big brother a couple times in the past. Such a sweet baby girl. Big brother didn't want much to do with me (or her) that morning, but I snuck in a couple photos of him anyway! Last fall, I donated a free session and package of prints to a raffle at my son's school. The family pictured below won that session. What a super nice family and such beautiful girls! I had a great time photographing them at Sears Farm Road park.

Sweet newborn...

Here is a recent session of my babies! The youngest recently turned one, so earlier this month, we drove up to Duke Gardens and did a mini-session. They grow SO quickly - TOO quickly!

Playing catch-up!

It has been quite a while since I have posted. Life with three kids has kept me very busy! These are a few pictures from a session in the fall with one of my favorite families! We were trying to recreate some of the same shots I had taken of big brother when he was baby sister's age. We were all very pleased with results. So much so, that if you go into their home and see the photos in frames together, you have to look twice to decide which kiddo you are looking at!

My first attempt at maternity photos. I am proud of how the images turned out and glad that I tried it. It helped that my subject was super sweet and a beautiful, glowing mom-to-be!! Not sure if I want to do these all the time yet, but it may be something I can incorporate into my business in the future.
