Here are the twins again! These little girls are so much fun! As I mentioned in my previous post they both wanted to do different things at different times which is great practice for me!
I also included another outtake of this family. I love the interactions in it.

I had to share this outtake from a recent shoot. These are the twins that I had a three month session with back in June. We met up again at their home for their 6 month pics. They are so sweet! It's so much more difficult to get shots of them together now that they a bit bigger. One didn't want to sit, the other wanted to roll over, it was hysterical. Hard for pics but so stinkin' funny! Check back for more from this session soon!

These are pictures of my boy when he turned 3. We had a blast playing at this park. I know he loved having mommy all to himself that morning (even though I brought along my camera!)

This was a recent session with a sweet ten month-old girl. We met up at Duke Gardens one morning and let her explore. Her mother really wanted the beautiful flowers as the backdrop for her session. Sweet baby girl liked the dirt path a bit more than the flowers! Oh well, kids will be kids. I had a great time watching her practice her new skill of walking and was amazed at how many teeth she had! (My 13 month-old barely has 2!!!)

This is little miss S. She is my newest niece, just born last Saturday. We are not sure why she arrived so early (she wasn't due for a few more months) , but we are so happy that she is here and seems to be doing very well. I am sad that I have not been able to meet her yet, but I pray each day that she will be able to grow big and strong. I ask you to do the same. Most of the people who read this blog are my family, my friends, my clients, friends of my friends or clients, etc. I appreciate that you check back with me to see what I am up to with my photography. Please take a minute and send some love to Miss S. I hope to take lots of photos of her sometime soon.

Here are a couple pictures of Miss M. I love the natural smile in the first one and there is just something about the second picture. I can't remember now what she was feeling at that point in our session - she clearly wasn't too happy. I love how her face is relaxed and innocent. I've known her for long time and just can't believe how quickly she is growing up. I think that it is important for us to capture even these moments in our children's lives when they may not be too thrilled. If you're anything like me, you'll want to hold onto all the aspects of your child before they are all grown up. It happens so fast!

It has been quite a while since I last posted. I was out of the country visiting my husband's family in France. I wanted to post these pictures of my son that I took shortly after he turned three. I love them as a sequence. They need to be black & white so that you can't see that he is actually in front of a hot pink background! (He snuck in during a session with my daughter!!!) Anyway, I have been getting a lot of complaints that I don't share pics of my own kids anymore, so without further ado, here he is...

Here are some pictures from a recent session. These sisters were fun to chase around. We met up at their home and used their neighborhood as the backdrop. The older sister was very happy to sit and pose for some photos, while it was a bit harder to give direction to her younger sister. As I have mentioned in previous posts - 2 year-olds are tough! The weather was beautiful that evening if you didn't think about how hot and humid it was!!

These are pictures from a session in May with my nephew and my nieces. I'm thrilled with how they turned out. My youngest niece wasn't too interested in doing pictures, but she finally came around. The photo of her with the flower is one of my favorites.

Here is a shot of my daughter at about 10 months. There are so many things about this photo that I love: it's my baby girl, it shows our home in the background, her expression says so much about this time in her life, it captures her latest development, and did I mention that it's my baby girl! I have been criticized for not posting pictures of my own children (by my family, of course!), so here is a recent personal favorite.

Here are a few more from another recent session.

Here are a few more of those adorable twins...

Here is a photo from another recent session. This little girl was so much fun. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the session and saw the beautiful mural on her bedroom wall. I love to include a child's home or surroundings in their photos. This mural proved to be a great backdrop - and now her parents will have it captured right along with memories of their little girl at this age.

These twins were so sweet!!! This is just one image from a recent session. These girls were identical. It was so neat to watch them when they were next to each other. When they finally dozed off to sleep (we weren't planning on sleeping shots, but they had naps on their mind! lol), they were in almost the exact same position. I am so thankful to their parents for letting me hang around for most of the morning. More pictures coming soon...

I have been so excited to build up my business. I have met so many wonderful families and have been lucky to photograph such sweet little ones. I am hoping to update my official website soon with photos from those sessions. The portfolio building special will be coming to an end soon -- book your session with me soon to qualify for the free session.

Here are a few more pictures from a recent session with my niece. I adore the storyboard of her with my daughter. They are only a few months apart in age - it will be interesting to see them as they grow. I hope that they will always be close. I love the hat she is wearing in the second two photos. I had so much fun during this session. My sister-in-law was so willing to let me try some of my ideas out and I truly appreciated that!

This is the sweetest little baby girl. She just loved to get her picture taken. We had so much fun watching her play dress-up for the first time.
