It's been a while since I last posted. I am thankful for all the business that I have had these past two months, but it was a lot for me to take on. I will be on a short break through the holidays and I am accepting appointments for sessions in the new year. 

Here are some photos from my recent sessions. 

Little Mr. W is certainly becoming a big boy! I just love little boys in overalls!!! What a sweetie!

This was a fun session with little Mr. L at Amberly. His mom did not want posed pictures at all. Basically I followed him around and captured him as he played. Mostly he chased around a fellow resident dressed in her cat costume for Halloween! He was having so much fun. Two-year-olds are full of life and energy! Gotta love it!

I feel like I am always writing the same thing, "This session was so much fun." "This little person was so sweet." I always want to write that, because it has been true of all my sessions. I am really having fun doing this job and having this business. I am lucky to have families allow me to come into their lives and capture these little moments. 

Mr. W was no exception. He had a lot to say and I loved how he shared his artwork with me. I would've liked to have done more shots with his wall of art behind him, but the rainy day wasn't ideal for using the natural light. I could've used my strobe, but that wasn't the look I wanted. Maybe another time...

Here are some pictures from a recent session. I was so excited to meet this family. We have a common friend in New Jersey and have both ended up here in North Carolina. These two kiddos are adorable and were so much fun!

This was a recent session over at Bond Park. I had a fun time with Mr. M. We shared jokes, collected leaves and fed the ducks.

A little preview of a recent family session...

Here's my little sweetie at Yates Mill County Park. It's really REALLY hard to get good photos of her nowadays. She just turned 14 months and has been on the move for a while. Toddlers are difficult to contain!

 This was my first official family session and I am happy with how it turned out. I learned so much and am so thankful that I had a chance to practice on them. This family was so much fun. They were open to trying different poses and locations within their yard. They were great at "out-takes" and trying to keep the little ones happy throughout the session. I found out just how hard it is to get such a large number of people to all be looking at the camera (with ideal expressions) at the same time! 

Here are a few more photos from my session with little mr. j! It was great for me to have another session with a newborn. It certainly has been a while. He was a trooper and allowed us to try some different poses and positions. He has three big sisters that I am hoping to take pictures of someday too! Enjoy...
