A little preview of a recent family session...

Here's my little sweetie at Yates Mill County Park. It's really REALLY hard to get good photos of her nowadays. She just turned 14 months and has been on the move for a while. Toddlers are difficult to contain!

 This was my first official family session and I am happy with how it turned out. I learned so much and am so thankful that I had a chance to practice on them. This family was so much fun. They were open to trying different poses and locations within their yard. They were great at "out-takes" and trying to keep the little ones happy throughout the session. I found out just how hard it is to get such a large number of people to all be looking at the camera (with ideal expressions) at the same time! 

Here are a few more photos from my session with little mr. j! It was great for me to have another session with a newborn. It certainly has been a while. He was a trooper and allowed us to try some different poses and positions. He has three big sisters that I am hoping to take pictures of someday too! Enjoy...

I just had to share this photo from a session I had this morning. Little Mr. J was just so sweet. He is just 8 days old and his mom was nice enough to let me come over. I brought all kinds of equipment with me, but am happy to say that I did the entire session using natural light. It has been a long, long time since I had a newborn session. The key is patience (along with a few chucks pads to avoid any mishaps!! lol)
